Huawei announced a millionaire investment for future developments

The Asian company said they will supply the necessary resources for the creation of Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) which is an alternative to that of Google

During the South Summit’19 held Thursday in Madrid Huawei launched its ecosystem of mobile services Huawei Mobile Services (HMS), alternative to Google, which already has about 570 million active users per month. It also confirmed its intention to invest a billion dollars in incentives for developers.

The last premium device of Huawei, the Mate 30 model, was the first of the high-end devices of the Chinese company to be launched after the entry into force of the veto filed by the United States. Huawei Mate 30 does not use Android and its Google Mobile Services (GSM), but its HMS alternative, without Google Play Store pre-installed, with access to a catalog of more than 11,000 applications.

The vice president of Huawei Mobile Services in Europe, Jaime Gonzalo, highlighted in his presentation at South Summit the intention of the company to “offer the best possible experience to the users of smartphones”, as the company says in a statement.

To achieve this commitment, “they created an integral ecosystem that includes different premium services, which can be enjoyed easily and quickly, in order to enrich the mobile life of users,” according to Gonzalo.

The ecosystem of services and applications of the company’s devices already has about 570 million active users per month. As part of Huawei Mobile Services, the Huawei App Gallery application platform stands out, which has reached 390 million active users per month and 180,000 million downloads per year.

In addition, within the framework of South Summit Huawei confirmed their global commitment to allocate a billion dollars in incentives for developers who, among other things, publish their apps or integrate HMS, as well as those that are part of their intelligent ecosystem.

The ecosystem of Huawei Mobile Services is open to the incorporation of new applications and services, and is being enhanced in order to expand the possibilities for developers to integrate them, according to the company.

Gonzalo also gave details about Huawei DigiX Labs, an initiative for development and testing, which will be remotely accessible to developers from November 2019 thanks to the cloud platform, and will feature Huawei Mate Series, P Series, Honor devices Series and Nova for testing.
