HP will provide solutions to companies affected by COVID-19

The technology company presented this week a new range of services that come to provide support to the challenges generated by the coronavirus

The HP company introduced its new support services to respond to the challenges facing companies after the new coronavirus pandemic and to facilitate remote management of the work environment.

With this situation, companies have found themselves in a “reality of acceleration of digital transformation, of increased complexity in IT departments and an increase in reality in terms of security,” according to the director of Solutions for Companies of HP, Montse Serra, in an online meeting.

Serra noted that companies often have few resources in IT departments and that more than 60% of the time these resources are dedicated to managing devices. He also highlighted that more than 3.5 million security experts are missing in the world, “making it increasingly difficult for companies to find people to help them with security.”

For this reason, HP offers different services with the aim of providing companies with an alternative with which they can support their employees remotely. These are services focused on configuration and provisioning, proactive security and proactive control and support.

One of those services would be aimed at helping those groups that “wish to change their traditional management system to one in the cloud, in which the teams come preconfigured and ready to use.”

HP also offers a design service that helps companies understand the best model for each, create factory-installed provisioning packages, a download service, for the operating system, and for service provisioning updates in a remote way.

Security is one of the great priorities of companies and today you can find different solutions that are much more advanced thanks to Artificial Intelligence (AI) or machine learning.
