Hacked schools and fake certificates are proliferating

There is now a clandestine industry with discussion forums and video tutorials that explain how to hack school’s system to change grades, improve attendance records, interrupt exams, or seize fake certificates and diplomas.
All of the above practices can be done for personal interest or to sell on the black market. As people use the same accesses on different websites it is likely that the portals are being hacked using stolen or reused information.
If the student is not a computer expert he can always hire a hacker or cracker to hack into services and obtain forged certificates, diplomas and grades from different institutions that look authentic.
The way to order and commit the crime is simple. A form is filled out in which the client specifies the subject, the level of the rating and the institution issuing it.
Cybersecurity experts advise verifying with the issuing institution a rating that seems suspicious, as they explain that it will have the official record of the person who obtained them.
Similarly, they recommend introducing some form of two-factor authentication for information systems, especially web-based systems, and in particular for access to student records, grades and assessments.
