Grupo Piñero implements smart wristbands in its facilities

The Spanish tourist group enters fully into the digital transformation of its establishments

Grupo Piñero, founded by Pablo Piñero in 1977, has its headquarters in Palma de Mallorca and is present throughout the value chain of the tourism industry, with hotel and residential units.

With the implementation of the smart bracelet, the chain will be able to monitor and streamline a large part of the services offered to customers. The first establishments to implement the tool are those located in the Canary Islands and the Dominican Republic. Subsequently, it is expected to implement the bracelet in the rest of the hotels of the firm.

The system was developed by Easygoband, a company specialized in the application of technologies to the tourism sector and will allow, among other things, that the bracelet be the key to access the room and different spaces of the hotels.

Likewise, the smart bracelet will become the necessary identification at check-in and will manage the presence of guests in the various facilities of the hotels, such as gym, restaurants and shops.

Making use of the smart bracelet can also settle the reservation of all kinds of services, such as tours, spa or restaurants and in the future it is estimated that cashless payments will be made, linking the customer’s bank card and allowing direct payment through the bracelet .

The wristbands guarantee the safety of both clients and tourist centers. Guests have the peace of mind of making secure digital payments without the need to handle cash in the establishments.
