Google wants to share pages with QR codes

The company is developing a new function which will allow users to do this even through a screenshot

Google is working on a new feature for your Chrome browser to share web pages with a QR code or through a screenshot.

The new sharing menu is still in development and, for now, does not appear by default to any user. In addition, several of its features do not work completely yet.

To enable these functions, the user must use the Chrome version Canary and enter chrome://flags/#chrome-sharing-hub to enable it.

Once Chrome is enabled and restarted twice, the user will have the new feature when they want to share a web page, as reported by Android Police.

The share menu will be divided into two parts: one with the specific actions of Chrome and another in which it allows clients to share the web page through other apps.

At the top, the user will find the new functions to create a QR code and edit a screenshot. The QR code creator opens a new page to share and scan codes.
