Google launches videogame multiplatform

Stadia will allow access to video games in streaming from any device without interruptions and simultaneously

Google CEO, Sundai Pichar, announced the launch of the Stadia multiplatform that will allow videogame lovers to connect simultaneously, without interruptions and without downloading to enjoy a moment of fun.

The presentation of this new Google concept was made during the Video Game Developers Conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

It was learned that it will be possible to play “from the computer, the television, the mobile phone and a tablet, simultaneously, without interruption and without specific controls, everything from the Chrome search engine and YouTube (…). Start playing in five seconds, just by clicking on a button within a YouTube video that has that option.”

Video games can reach up to 4k resolution, 60 frames per second. However, the creators of Stadia are more ambitious and expect to reach a resolution of up to 8k as the number of screens that support this technology increases.

The specialists behind this innovation have made it clear that no controls are required for Stadia. However, Google will launch a specific one for the platform with a button to share games directly to YouTube and players can connect to all their devices from WiFi.

During the event in San Francisco, Google also announced the creation of its own videogame studio that will be called Stadia Games and Entertainment. There the exclusive content for Stadia will be produced.
