A study conducted by the company Roiback specialized in the area concluded that currently, a high percentage of accommodation reservations are made through metasearch engines. In this sense, Google Hotel Ads has allowed hotels an increase in sales of 70%. The reserves come mostly from Spain, the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Colombia, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal.
The use of technologies allows speed in transactions, security, transparency and time savings. Today, travelers can conduct searches, bookings, payments from the comfort of home or office. Google Hotel Ads is located above Trivago and Tripadvisor, with 65% in the online booking segment. According to the Roiback study, 75% of travelers book packages, flights and hotels for their holidays via Internet.
