GoCrypto and Xpay will offer crypto outlets in South America

The platform is now available in almost 200 points of the continent, including Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina

The well-known Slovenian cryptocurrency payment gateway, GoCrypto, has strengthened alliances with Xpay with the aim of offering crypto outlets, including in Ethereum (ETH) in South American countries such as Argentina, Colombia and Venezuela.

The president of GoCrypto, Dejan Rolic, announced the news stating that almost 200 active points are now available in a total of 13 countries mostly in South America. The integration between the two companies will allow merchants to accept payments made in BCH, BTC, DAI, DASH, ZEN and now they will add ETH and GoC tokens.

It is presumed that the ambitions of both companies to expand the use of cryptocurrencies have made this idea arise in order to make easier the way in which different businesses can accept them.

According to the Panda News media, the intention of executing this pilot plan in South America is due to the continent’s growing interest in digital assets. The media explains that in order to exploit the potential of the crypto assets it is necessary to provide solutions aimed at responding to the needs of users, empower real use cases and introduce new people to these technologies.

It is known that this approach had been discussed long before. In mid-December, both firms exhibited together in Uruguay the project at the “LABITCONF” conference, one of the largest and most important blockchain event in this part of the world.
