Gmail bets on artificial intelligence to combat SPAM

The company said it will start using the TensorFlow tool, which is able to detect about 100 million unwanted emails daily

The Google tool Gmail will bet again for artificial intelligence. In this case to combat SPAM.

Companies and users constantly suffer from the arrival of “junk mail“, because they fill the inbox with unnecessary information for them.

To combat this, Google will bet on the use of the TensorFlow tool, which is capable of blocking at least 100 million SPAM emails on a daily basis. Another positive aspect is that it is able to detect unwanted messages that were “very difficult to find” before.

The task however will continue to be complex for Google, in view of the fact that the application can eliminate a message that is considered of vital importance to the user or the company.

Despite this, thanks to the use of machine learning it is possible that this stops being a headache for the company with the identification of individual patterns.
