Germany will lose four million jobs by 2035

This was stated by the German Ministry of Labor in response to "the left", also ensuring that this is due to digitalization trend

In Germany, four million jobs will disappear until 2035 and at the same time 3.3 million will be created in part due to digitalization trend, according to the German Ministry of Labor in response to a consultation from “the left” to which the agency had access dpa.

The German Ministry made reference to a forecast presented at the beginning of the year and confirmed these figures. The report indicates that work will increase in the health and social services sector due to the aging population.

According to the statement, until 2025 1.3 million jobs will be lost and another 2.1 million will be created.

“However, the fall and the increase in employment are not compensated in terms of figures”, said the German Government, adding that these are jobs with varying degrees of professional qualification.

The Government also stated that training is a key point in its strategy to increase the number of specialized workers.
