French Business School accepts payments with cryptocurrencies

The Financial Business School of France offers postgraduate courses in financial technology and blockchain, and allows students to pay their fees in cryptocurrencies

Since the French institution introduced the measure of being able to make the payments of the post-graduate courses using blockchain, half a dozen students have paid in BTC for the 2018 academic year. A quarter of the enrollment of the Financial Business School is foreign and many students have to assume complex and punitive money transfer costs.

Students who wish to carry out transactions in BTC can do so through Coin Capital, a startup specialized in digital assets and block chain technology, which has partnered with the Financial Business School to receive assistance with the payment of fees.

The intitution said it is committed to embrace emerging technologies within the financial sector, hence its early development of a blockchain curriculum. It is configured to complement the cryptocurrency fee service with a series of administrative innovations inspired by blockchain.

The novelties will include the creation of a token for the payment of services within the school and associated institutions, the launching of proof of concept around blockchain projects by and for students and the reinforcement of courses on blockchain, ICOs and other related topics.

The academic interest of various universities in the world corresponds to a rapidly growing industrial demand for blockchain and cryptocurrencies. In the same way, many institutions are really interested in adopting monthly payments and fees by using digital currencies.
