Following the successful Children’s Day campaign held this weekend in Caracas and throughout the country, Bancamiga decided to conduct a special operation this Saturday, July 26, at a total of 24 branches.

Starting at 9:00 a.m., children and adolescents accompanied by their representative can open their child accounts and receive the Kids Card free of charge at the following branches: Centro Lido, Las Ibarras, Chacao, El Hatillo, Sabana Grande, Altamira, La Castellana, Los Teques, Guaparo, Galerías Plaza in Maracay, Valle de la Pascua, Calabozo, Rattan Plaza in Porlamar, Puerto La Cruz, Mérida, San Francisco in Maracaibo, Taquilla VIVA, Barquisimeto Centro, Barquisimeto Este, Sambil San Cristóbal, Ciudad Ojeda, Barinas, Guatire, and Maiquetía.

This Saturday, 2,000 accounts were opened as part of the Children’s Day operation, allowing new customers to enjoy benefits such as making payments at national points of sale, receiving transfers in bolivars from third parties, making mobile payments, and recharging their Movistar or Digitel phone balance.

Available in various designs, the Kids Bancamiga card is supported by contactless technology and was specifically designed to help children begin to learn about responsible money management.

With the account for minors with ID (between 9 and 17 years old), children and adolescents can also register on the portal and view their balance and account transactions.

“If you didn’t have the opportunity to open an account and receive the free Kids card, take advantage of the opportunity this Saturday. All you need to do is submit a copy of your current, laminated ID card and a copy of your birth certificate (to verify the relationship between the child, adolescent, and legal representative) in the new format issued by the National Electoral Council (CNE),” explains a statement from the banking institution.
