Frankfort Finance School will grant diplomas based on blockchain

Students of the School of Finance and Administration who demonstrate their knowledge in blockchain technology will obtain the certificate

On Monday, September 17th, the School of Finance and Administration of Frankfurt, Germany, announced that it will challenge students to demonstrate their qualifications using blockchain technology.

It is a pilot project through which the students who are about to graduate in FS school courses on blockchain technology will be able to demonstrate their ability to create a certification stored in a decentralized chain.

The finance school works together with Consensys, one of the leading software companies in this technology and is in charge of the development of a decentralized application (DApp) for self-sovereign identities.

With this technology, certificates may not be published but copied to the computers of network participants. These copies of certificates can be encrypted so that the owner of a particular node in the respective network decides which will be visible and which will not.

For students it is a privilege to participate in this project, at the end of their studies, and to be able to demonstrate their knowledge. With this initiative, the FS school becomes the first in the country to offer its students certificates based on blockchain.
