The co-founder of the communication platform Skype, Jaan Tallinn, assured that he has long managed most of his savings in cryptocurrencies.
As he recently told Fortune magazine, almost everything he owns wealth is managed this way to avoid paying tax rates related to capital gains.
The engineer, from Estonia, became a world reference after having created the communication platform and its subsequent sale to eBay 15 years ago.
Through its investment firm Metaplanet Holdings, Tallinn has been supporting research in artificial intelligence (AI), through financing in cryptocurrencies.
