Firefox added new security mechanisms

The browser presented its new web version, which is available for Windows, Mac, Linux, among others, and includes new features such as cookies blocking

Mozilla presented the new version of the new web browser, Firefox 70, available for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. It focuses on privacy as it includes the activity of these functions in a new privacy protection report.

Through his blog, Mozilla showed the new Firefox 70 highlighting the report, which allows the user to consult the operation of recently added security features such as blocking tracking cookies to third parties and cryptocurrency.

The new browser includes different functions. First, it blocks third-party tracking cookies, preventing them from making a user profile based on his search on the Internet, a function available since June, and then showing it to the user as a warning of what happened.

Second, through the Firefox Monitor the user keeps abreast of the data breaches he suffers in his accounts and passwords. Third, it also offers the user the possibility to manage their passwords and devices in Firefox Lockwise.

This update allows the user to access their personal privacy protection account in two ways. The first one is in the address bar of the search engine, in which an icon of a shield appears, where the full description comes. The other option is to access the Firefox website and go to the Privacy Protection section.

The new Mozilla browser allows the users to generate and control their passwords through the Firewise Lockwise. This new feature incorporates the ability to create secure passwords automatically each time the user creates an account. It includes an improved dashboard to manage passwords. This synchronizes passwords to any device with Firefox Lockwise.
