The technology company, Microsoft Corporation, has launched a parental control application called Family Safety into the technology market and aims to help “develop healthy digital habits” with features such as activity reporting, as reported by Microsoft in a statement. .

At the same time, Family Safety records children’s use time of electronic devices and what they use them for. The results of the reports are sent to an email weekly and it shows the screen time, the most visited sites and the terms that the minors are looking for.

The application is not only a tool to measure the time spent by the little ones on the web, but also allows parents to limit the duration and permanence that their children maintain in Windows 10 applications and Xbox consoles.

Family Safety has also the option of controlling the content that children watch through the browsers, establishing filters and serving as a channel to lead the smallest to web pages with content suitable for minors.

Additionally, notifications are sent to parents when the child downloads an adult app or game.
