Facebook ready to launch its cryptocurrency Globalcoin in 2020
The social network estimates that by 2020 a dozen countries will use the cryptocurrency developed by their blockchain department
A recently published report ensures that Facebook is finishing preparing the ground for the launch of its own cryptocurrency.
According to what was prepared by the BBC, a social network spokesperson stressed that GlobalCoin will be available for “a dozens of countries by 2020“.
Several rumors also assure that representatives of Facebook have had conversations with several CEOs of exchange houses, financial institutions, payment providers, among others.
The network created by Mark Zuckerberg has had several changes of opinion regarding cryptocurrencies, something that led them to make the decision to create their own digital asset.
Facebook has invested for making a considerable expansion in the blockchain team from 2018. This envisages greater profits for the company and those interested in being part of this initiative.
