European Union faces severe challenges in 2019

The year 2019 will be one of the most important for the European Union (EU). The experts express how the member states must face the situation to strengthen the union and the proper functioning of the institutions.

In this regard, they say that efforts can focus on combating extremist discourses that seek to provoke discussions between the most relevant countries such as France, Germany or even Spain, which with the brexit must be able to take a step forward. .

In the same way, European citizens will choose which road the EU should take for the next five years. Analysts agree that it should be a period of much debate even between equal or similar positions.

The body has to face with Brexit not only the biggest challenge for 2019, but perhaps the biggest one in its history. The events caused that the strong part of the negotiation is precisely Brussels.
