EU: Small companies could benefit from Blockchain technology

Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy considers the alliance for "non-monetary uses" as "beneficial"

The Committee of Industry, Research and Energy of the European Parliament recently voted in favor of small businesses in the United States, since they believe that they can “benefit the alliance with the integration of Blockchain-based technology”.

According to a statement, the group specifically suggests “non-monetary uses for technology“, which is why emphasis is placed on data controls, supply chain management, property registers and the democratization of the energy market.

According to the report, voters have been called to the European Union to establish rules for several Blockchain cases that are “innovation friendly and technology neutral”. They also requested funding for Blockchain’s emerging projects in the long-term budget of the European Union (beyond 2020).

A member of the aforementioned committee said that the European Union was “aimed at adopting the Blockchain-based technology”, stating that “in the coming years a harmonious and safe regulation process will be conceived”.
