eToro will launch a crypto card in the UK
The famous broker will be able to satisfy the 12 million users affiliated with the crypto platform based in that country
The asset and social media platform eToro, will impact the cryptos market with the launch of a debit card for the second quarter of the year.
According to the information published by the Business Insider news portal, the company specializing in social trading has shown the willingness to expand its services in the world and although no more details of the project are known, the card is expected to benefit 12 million users affiliated with the cryptoactive platform based in the United Kingdom.
Crypto investment
In September, eToro cited a survey related to the motivations and general investment initiatives, conducted to more than 1,000 online investors in the United States who said that 40% of millennials opted for investment in crypto assets when it came to potential recessions.
Guy Hirsch, executive director of eToro US, spoke on the matter saying: “We believe that if there were a recession, we would see a reduction in stock portfolios and growth in other asset classes such as crypto, as well as new models of fractional ownership.”
Hirsch added that “historically, these investment opportunities have been limited to institutional investors with high net worth. But, innovation is unlocking these opportunities for everyday investors and, clearly, these results indicate that demand is there.”
