The director of Procolombia, Carlos Luna, detailed that exports from Venezuela to Colombia increased by 92 % between 2022 and 2025.

The agency in Venezuela also provided details of exports from Colombia to Venezuela during the same period, indicating an exponential growth of 300 %.

The director of the Colombian agency, “responsible for promoting exports, international tourism, and foreign investment,” indicated that the goal in terms of trade is to sustain this trend.

However, he acknowledged that this bilateral trade relationship “faces challenges, among which he highlighted the need for businesspeople from the coffee-growing country to visit Venezuelan territory so they can learn about the installed capacity of the national industry, identify business opportunities, and forge alliances.”

Luna emphasized that the industry is interested in increasing exports. “If the market grows, volumes will grow,” he added.
