The authorities indicated that all travelers must consult this information before leaving their country of origin at the Venezuelan embassy or consulate to obtain updated data.

The requirements that foreigners must meet to enter Venezuela are:

• Valid passport: It is essential that the foreign traveler carry a valid passport with a minimum validity of six months from the date of entry into the country.
• Visa: In addition to the passport, this document is requested from citizens of different countries to enter Venezuela. The tourist visa must be processed before traveling, after verifying if it is required for your country.
• Return ticket: Every foreign traveler must have a return ticket or a ticket to leave the country.
• Proof of financial means: Every foreigner must demonstrate through supporting documents that they have sufficient financial resources to cover expenses during their stay on Venezuelan soil.
• Proof of accommodation: This refers to a reservation at a hotel in the country or a notarized letter of invitation from the person who will host them.
• Medical insurance: Venezuelan authorities urge foreigners to take out medical insurance that covers any eventuality during their trip to the country.
• Vaccinations: This requirement is not mandatory. However, vaccination against yellow fever is recommended, especially if the visitor is traveling to border areas with Brazil.
• Health declaration form: Authorities may request that the foreign traveler complete a health declaration form upon entering the country.
