In a further step towards optimizing the user experience, and in line with its digital transformation, the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT) announced its new mobile application SENIATVZLA.

The presentation took place on Friday, April 17, providing details of the tool, which aims to “advance the modernization of its services and facilitate tax procedures for taxpayers through digital channels.”

The tax authority highlighted that “this initiative is part of the digital transformation process of the Venezuelan public administration and the implementation of the Organic Law for the Simplification of Administrative Procedures, with the goal of reducing processing times and expanding access to online services.”

The application will allow users to carry out inquiries and procedures related to the Tax Information Registry (RIF), as well as other routine processes, “in line with the trend of digitizing tax administrations in various countries of the region, which have progressively migrated to mobile platforms to improve citizen services.”

Google has indicated that the extensions are enabled by default, but it may be necessary to restart the Gemini or Google app for them to appear. At the moment, access to them is limited.

Users will have new navigation bars at the top and bottom of the screen that will make access to the app’s functions and tabs much easier.

Additionally, it will include support for landscape mode, with which the user will be able to rotate their devices for a more comfortable viewing. “The video will be centered on the screen, with two gray areas on the sides to focus attention on the content.”

Another novelty is that the app is now compatible with any orientation. This makes it easier for the user to adapt the video in both portrait and landscape mode, regardless of how the device is held.
