The Catholic University of Ávila (UCAV in Spanish) announced the launch of the first virtual library in Spain, intended for the exclusive study of central bank digital currencies.

The main objective of this space is to disseminate as much information as possible about this technology around the world.

There is no limitation whatsoever for access to this library, anyone who wishes to learn about the cbdc can enter and obtain documents in their original language and in Spanish.

This project was possible thanks to the collaboration of the Digital Economy & Knowledge and Information Society (DEKIS), a research group from the university, and the Russian consultancy Mindsmith.

Between DEKIS and Mindsmith they were able to translate into Spanish around 134 documents issued by banking regulators and central banks on scientific articles, bibliographic or academic references related to CBD.
