The company Meta, owner of Instagram, is testing non-fungible tokens (nft) but this time on the Facebook platform.

A company spokesperson confirmed this information this week, adding that the tests are being carried out on a small group of users. The new feature allows Facebook’s creator group to post digital collectibles or display them as profile photos on the platform.

Navdeep Singh, product manager of Meta, shared information on his Twitter account showing how the new nft feature of the social network looks like.

Content creators will be able to connect their cryptocurrency wallets to the platform, as well as react to the content, like, comment and share the collectibles as if it were a regular post.
