Microsoft Teams free (classic), the name given to the free version for companies, will disappear on April 12, so the technology company has begun to encourage users of this application to upgrade to a Teams Essentials subscription.

This change will allow you to maintain access to data such as chats, files, and meetings, since if you upgrade to a subscription, it will delete them by the deadline. Microsoft offers the possibility of exporting the files, as shown on the Teams page.

However, there will continue to be a free version of Teams which requires a separate registration and which maintains unlimited meetings for both groups (up to one hundred participants) and between two people, with a time limit of 60 minutes per call, though it does reduce the add-on features available.
