The crypto ecosystem continues to feed on the projections of analysts on the possible value of bitcoin in the first months of 2025.

An expert has launched the idea that the price of BTC in the first months of next year would be $100,000, although he warned of the difficulty of maintaining it above such a figure.

For his part, the businessman, author and expert trader Robert Kiyosaki, has launched his prediction, placing the value of bitcoin at $250,000 next year, but not before indicating: “We have to try to forget what bitcoin was initially and promote it for what it has the potential to become.”

Kiyosaki sees bitcoin as an important resource to “combat the devaluation of fiat currency and navigate the turbulent seas of global economic uncertainty.”

His concern about the weakness of the dollar and financial instability around the world underpins his recommendation to invest in gold or silver and cryptocurrencies.

The halving is a known phenomenon, which occurs every four years, when it reaches 210,000 blocks and “the reward that miners receive for verifying transactions in the Bitcoin network is reduced by half.”

A few days before it happens, the debate is intensifying and investors’ expectations are deepening, given that in the processes of 2012, 2016 and 2020 the digital currency experienced notable growth in the subsequent months.

In any case, there is no obligatory correlation between the halving and the value of Bitcoin. Furthermore, the cryptocurrency started in 2024 with ups and downs. In January the price was $44,168; on March 14 it stood at 73,737 and current price of the virtual asset is USD 70,500.

Analysts are clear that the halving will have an impact on the price, although they do not know what it will be. Some are inclined towards a considerable increase, “others are more cautious and foresee a moderate impact or even a neutral scenario”, taking into account factors such as market volatility or global economic uncertainty.

On October 21, 4.5 billion SHIB, equivalent to approximately $37.1 million, were moved from one undisclosed wallet to another. Additionally, two separate transactions were carried out on October 20, transferring around 4.55 billion and 4.56 million SHIB, valued at approximately $37.4 million and $37.57 million, respectively. In mid-October, the 17th, another transaction moved 4.57 billion SHIB, equivalent to approximately $37.6 million.

These colossal transfers highlight the level of speculation surrounding the famous meme currency, further consolidating its appeal to high-caliber investors.
