Amazon founder Jeff Bezos told CNN on Monday that he is willing to donate much of his fortune to philanthropic causes. The billionaire currently amasses $124 billion.

During the interview, Bezos indicated that he will donate most of his fortune to causes such as the fight against climate change, reducing social inequality, policies for the benefit of the most vulnerable.

Although the 58-year-old billionaire has not given further details about this decision, it is known that in the last ten years he has allocated close to 10,000 million dollars to his foundation for the protection of the environment.

On philanthropic work, Bezos told CNN: “There are a lot of ways that I think you can do ineffective things as well, so you have to think carefully and have brilliant people on your team.”

Faced with the global economic crisis, with worrying signs for all actors, Bezos has recommended not taking risks to avoid further damage.
