By the end of 2025, Venezuela’s automotive sector could show slight growth, according to recent statements by Sergio González, a representative of the sector.

According to the executive, the greatest demand has been in the market associated with the agricultural industry, as well as in the heavy cargo sector, where pickup trucks have been requested.

González mentioned the motorcycle segment, where there has been a rapid increase in units, indicating that companies are now selling them with helmets to reinforce accident prevention.

The automotive sector’s production goal in Venezuela for the last quarter of 2025 is between 13,000 and 14,000 units to meet domestic demand, which has been boosted by financing plans and the desire to purchase a new car.

The sector is working together with the auto parts sector to provide the necessary spare parts for cars produced in the country.

According to Sergio González, a representative of the automotive sector, the last quarter of each year is characterized by increased commercial activity. “Based on this, we believe we’ll achieve around 13,000 units and that the market will reach around 34,000 to 35,000 units.”
