WhatsApp plans to activate a third blue ticket to indicate that the user has sent the same message received to another chat or has taken a screenshot of the content.

According to recently leaked information, with the third check, it will be possible to know if the recipient has taken a screenshot and forwarded the message to other chats.

The activation of this novelty does not seem to imply major changes in the user experience. However, some opinions are oriented towards the fact that this could reduce the indiscriminate capture of messages, “improving trust and privacy.” Although the user could use another device to take the screenshot, limiting its effectiveness.
