Sources related to X pointed out that Musk was analyzing the withdrawal of the platform from the European Union, as well as the blocking of access from the member countries in order not to have to submit to the DSA.

Such claims were quickly denied by the tycoon, directly on his social network account, denouncing them as false.

The rumors in this regard arise a week after the European Commission issued an official request to X to send a detailed report on the handling of violent content in addition to the “disinformation” that circulates on the social network precisely within the framework of the commented legislation.

The Commission informed Musk that these aspects would be evaluated and, in response, could impose fines for publishing “incorrect, incomplete or misleading” information.

It is important to make reference to the DSA, which is the set of rules in Europe that obliges digital service companies to comply with the principles of digital security for users, innovation, competitiveness in the single market, among others.

The company teased this release in its Android Security Release Notes, published on August 1st, which includes “details affecting Android devices that are addressed as part of Android 13.”

Specifically, Google said that Android 13 devices with a security patch of 2022-09-01 or later are protected against these problems and that, according to its open source project (AOSP), this version “will have a security patch level default” on that date.

This suggests that the latest Android update would be available for download next September and that it will arrive with the security patch of September 1st, 2022.

However, the level of security does not necessarily indicate when the implementation of Android 13 will occur on Pixel devices, which it reaches in the first instance, as recalled from 9to5Google.
