Google launched a new tool for users of the Discover feed on mobile devices, called Daily Listen, which summarizes the news of the moment in a podcast.

It is a new experiment from Search Labs that provides personalized five-minute audios with news content based on each user’s searches and interests.

The new Gemini AI-based feature is in the “For you” section, below the search bar, in the Google app. Clicking on the card “launches a full-screen player interface with standard playback controls.”

This new feature is currently available in the United States, but it is expected to soon reach other countries to offer news content to iOS and Android users.
