According to the parent company, this service was originally aimed at content creators and online personalities, “but now Meta also hopes to attract other users with a cheaper subscription and different features that it has already begun testing in some regions.

The monthly fee will offer improvements to Stories. In this regard, “subscribers to the new service will be able to view other people’s stories anonymously, without the author knowing they have been viewed.”

Additionally, it will be possible to see how many people have reviewed one of their stories, extend its duration by 24 hours, or feature them once a week so they appear at the top of their followers’ Stories feeds.

Paid users will have the option to create unlimited audience lists for their Stories posts.

The company led by Mark Zuckerberg has indicated other new features, such as the inclusion of a search function in the view list that will make it easier to determine if a specific person has viewed your story, and “an animated Super Like to react to other people’s posts.”

Regarding pricing, Meta specified that in Mexico it costs 39 pesos. (about 2 euros per month), in Japan it’s 319 yen (approximately 1.75 euros), and in the Philippines it’s 65 Philippine pesos (around one euro).

Preliminary reports outlined a dozen deaths, thousands of people affected by the collapse of infrastructure, interruption of electrical service, as well as transportation and communications.

This earthquake is the strongest to hit Taiwan in 25 years, according to some analysts. Images on Taiwanese television showed the collapse of buildings in Hualien, near the epicenter of the earthquake.

According to information from the United States Geological Survey, the telluric event occurred at a depth of about 35 kilometers above the surface.

Given the magnitude of the earthquake, Japan and the Philippines issued a tsunami alert and evacuated coastal areas due to the possibility of waves up to three meters high.

The South Korean Ministry of Industry has indicated in a statement that the agreement “will serve as the foundation for future cooperation with a key country in Southeast Asia in fields such as the automotive, cultural, health and commercial fields,” among others.

For his part, the President of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., known as Bongbong Marcos, has confirmed the signing of the agreement and has described the country’s participation in the summit as “successful”.

Thus, he thanked Indonesia for its “warm hospitality” and stressed the importance of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which has allowed member countries to exchange views on issues of food security, climate change and digital economy, among others.

The Philippine president has stressed the importance of finding “peaceful solutions” to current disputes in the region and has defended freedom of movement in the South China Sea, where he has urged “to avoid miscalculation.”

The signing took place during a meeting between the South Korean Trade Minister, Ahn Duk Geun, and his Philippine counterpart, Alfredo Espinosa Pascual, on the sidelines of the ASEAN summit, which is being held in Jakarta, the Indonesian capital. The pact is scheduled to enter into force during the first half of next year.

Leon Fong, Asia-Pacific director of Binance, assured that the firm will remain focused on seeking to bring the benefits of digital assets to the nation.

“We tend not to get distracted by what some of these so-called lobbyists are doing. Rather we want to focus on how to continue to provide our users with a better experience”, Fong said.

The executive stated that there is high potential within blockchain technology to create greater financial inclusion, bringing great opportunities for Filipinos.

The arrival of Binance can also offer a greater volume of foreign direct investment that, in the words of Fong, must go hand in hand with the creation of a regulatory framework that embraces local and global actors, that establishes the guidelines that promote the healthy competition.
