This week, the National Cryptocurrency Association (Asonacrip) announced the official launch of the Petro application.

Through Asonacrip’s official Twitter account, it was indicated that this app is called “Petro-App”, and that it is available from now on in the official Google store.

“For now, its functions are aimed at sending and receiving Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, dash and, of course, Petro,” they indicated in the tweet, adding that transactions such as “telephone recharges and mobile payments” can also be made.

On the other hand, the system also has the possibility of making payments to platforms such as Amazon, through Gift Cards, Netflix, Apple, among others.

“It is estimated that starting this Tuesday with the implementation of the new minimum wage, this application will be part of the daily use of Venezuelans for the ease of immediate payments,” says the official entity.
