The President of the Board of Directors of Bancamiga Banco Universal, José Simón Elarba, expressed that this fact supports the responsibility, seriousness and reliability of Bancamiga in the management of sensitive data from these payment instruments.

“One of the main reasons related to the importance of obtaining PCI DSS 4.0 certification is its focus on protecting sensitive data. This standard establishes strict requirements for the management, storage and transmission of payment card data, which helps prevent the theft of financial information and fraud. The implementation of these measures significantly reduces the risk of customers’ personal data being compromised,” said Elarba.

For Bancamiga, the security of its customers is of enormous importance; and it is the first bank in Venezuela to obtain the certification in its version 4.0.
