Social network X, formerly Twitter, will boost online sales through a deal with celebrity Paris Hilton, which includes a custom hashtag.

According to the announcement, it is the first time that an agreement of this type has been established, aiming to boost online sales using a public figure other than Elon Musk.

It was Paris Hilton herself who, through her account on the platform, gave details of the agreement, indicating that it is the beginning of her “X era.”

In the post, Hilton does not hide the excitement she feels about this agreement with her company “11:11 Media”, which covers live shopping, music and video, and adds: “Together, we will explore new ways to connect with all of you through video, live video, live shopping and even Spaces.”

It is important to clarify that Live Shopping on the social network X “allows users to watch, chat and buy in the same window. In this sense, while users are watching a Hilton broadcast, they will also be able to browse a product catalog and purchase through the service’s integrated browser.

Linda Yaccarino, executive director assigned by Musk, is in contact with other Hollywood celebrities, as well as influencers, to be part of the platform and thus increase the income they lost in 2022, when the social network was acquired by the magnate.
