The Vincent van Gogh Sites Foundation (VGSF) promoted the creation of a collection of artworks in non-fungible token (NFT) format dedicated to the Dutch Post-Impressionist painter.

Beyond the dissemination of van Gogh’s work, already well known in the world, this collection’s main purpose is to tell the story of the artist.

The Foundation unveiled six multimedia works of art, all based on locations connected to van Gogh.

“We are proud to present this exclusive look at the making of the video. Stay tuned as we unravel the mysteries surrounding the ideas and techniques of the Vincent van Gogh 39 NFT Collection”, the foundation said on social media.

Some 84 copies in NFT format of each of the works available in 3D animation were also put up for sale. The animation shows the sheet encapsulated in a glass screen, a nod to the project’s preservation theme.
