The second edition of the Caracas Blockchain Week conference will be held in the capital of Venezuela, from October 24 to 28. Includes the country’s first crypto-hackathon.

The event promises a complete agenda on current issues, related to blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, Web3 in Venezuela, to promote understanding of the crypto market.

“Learn, Build, Use and Adopt” is the motto applied by the organizers of the second edition of the conference, considering “the current market situation, which many have called a ‘bear market'”.

Ernesto Contreras, co-founder of the event, has indicated: “for years I have seen that the best network, the best products and real users are built during times of difficulty in the market, because there are those who really want to learn and build solutions; For this reason, Venezuela, which is the leading market in crypto adoption, is the ideal place to hack the developments that will mark real adoption of the next 10 years in crypto; thus, we decided to add the construction and development component as the main axis”.

The Caracas Blockchain Week will be the propitious scenario for the exchange of experiences that invite the public to “learn, build, use and adopt”.

This year, the conference includes, in addition to talks by national and international specialists, the first crypto-hackathon in Venezuela thanks to “the strategic alliance with the prestigious company Think and Dev”, a software development company “focused on the development of projects high complexity blockchain.”

In this way, from October 24 to 28, the city of Caracas will receive the most enthusiastic local and international speakers. Among the mentors who have confirmed their participation are the crypto ecosystems and VCs of Polkadot, Dash, Hive and Solana.

There will be fun activities and attractions for the audience. “Developers will have the opportunity to participate for prizes in crypto, and bonuses that the different projects participating in this hackathon will be distributing, valued at thousands of dollars.”
