Monday, October 12, is a national holiday in Venezuela, commemorating Indigenous Resistance Day. Bank branches throughout the country will be closed.

The Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions (Sudeban) recommends that users of the national banking system conduct their transactions in advance and use digital channels to avoid any inconvenience.

Customers will be able to check their account balances online, make mobile payments, transfer funds, and pay for utilities or subscriptions. These transactions can be performed in advance or during the holiday.

In addition, ATMs available throughout the country will be accessible for balance inquiries, cash withdrawals, PIN changes, and other services.

According to the official calendar of the Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions (Sudeban), the country’s banking agencies will not provide service through the box office. However, all digital channels and ATMs will be operational for different types of transactions.

Customers will be able to make their transfers, mobile payments, pay or recharge services through the Internet. Another alternative this day will be ATMs that also allow cash withdrawals and deposits.

Telephone customer service is also another option that national banking users have to make balance inquiries and request assistance from qualified personnel, among others.

Sudeban invites citizens to use online banking during bank holidays from the comfort of home, through the channels established by each banking entity, in a rapid and secure manner.

Through the Sudeban website you can obtain detailed information about upcoming bank holidays in order to make forecasts according to the convenience of users of the national banking system.
