The new element in this agreement is the exclusion of Anthropic, due to “a dispute with the Pentagon regarding its demand for safeguards on how the military uses its AI tools.”

The announcement caused a stir among Google employees, who have requested that the company withdraw from the agreement.

In any case, according to the announcement made on Friday, May 1, the goal is to create an “AI-focused combat force,” with a combination of closed-source and open-source models.

Nvidia’s supercomputer integrates “high-speed ConnectX-7 networks and the company’s full AI software stack, providing startups, researchers, and developers with plug-and-play access to industrial-grade computing power.”

Unveiled at Jensen Huang’s GTC 2025 conference, the innovative product was revealed as the company’s response to the growing demands for “agentic AI, a new class of reasoning systems that think, plan, and act autonomously.”

Spark’s hardware, with 20 CPU cores and 128 GB of unified GPU memory, was optimized for real-world AI work. The company notes that users can tune models with up to 70 billion parameters, “run inference locally, and keep sensitive data completely on-premises, all without relying on cloud infrastructure.” But it’s also adaptable to developers’ work.

Investor confidence regarding Nvidia’s progress in the artificial intelligence sector, as well as a potential increase in demand for its specialized chips, plays a significant role in this recovery.

Analysts, on the other hand, encourage the possibility that the company could surpass $4 trillion in the coming months, a result of the artificial intelligence boom.

In this regard, Daniel Ives, an analyst at Wedbush Securities, noted: “We believe both Nvidia and Microsoft will reach the $4 trillion market capitalization club this summer, and for the next 18 months the focus will be on the $5 trillion club, as this tech bull market is still in its early stages, led by the AI Revolution.”

At the end of June, the semiconductor company’s market capitalization was $3.86 trillion, “exceeding Microsoft’s valuation of $3.69 trillion by 4.3 %.” As for the stock market, as of Wednesday, July 2, it was trading at around $157.42 per unit, “an increase of 2.62 % compared to Tuesday’s close.”

Nvidia Corporation paid a fine valued at 5.5 million dollars to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for not providing information on the impact of crypto mining on its “gaming” business.

Cryptocurrency mining is a process to obtain rewards in exchange for verifying transactions made within a network. This practice skyrocketed in 2017, the year in which Nvidia customers began to use their graphics processing units (GPUs) more and more for this purpose, according to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in a statement.

The SEC claims that Nvidia failed to identify crypto mining as a “significant” element of its revenue growth from increased sales of GPUs originally designed for gaming for several consecutive fiscal quarters of 2018.

The company was required to provide this information to its investors through 10-Q forms, something it did not do, even though these earnings and cash flow fluctuations serve as a guide for investors to “determine that past performance is indicative of future performance.”

“The SEC order also finds that Nvidia’s omissions of material information about the growth of its gaming business were misleading, given that Nvidia made statements about how other parts of the company’s business were driven by demand for crypto,” points out this body in the statement.

Robotics has very specialized procedures and requires a chip called a brain with a very high processing capacity, capable of executing about “200 billion operations per second“, capable of performing various AI applications with efficient energy consumption.

Orin was made with an “Nvidia Ampere GPU architecture” characterized by an Arm Cortex-A78AE chip, with “Deep Learning specifications, vision accelerators and the ability to run multiple Artificial Intelligence apps”.

Nvidia has long tried to lead in the field of autonomous cars and estimates that the Jetson AGX Orin will be released in the first months of next year, although the exact date and price at which it will be marketed is unknown.
