<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Monitoring of all <strong>AI-generated content is planned, which must be clearly labeled with visible watermarks, whether image, audio, or video.</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Furthermore, the new law will require <strong>mandatory transparency;</strong> this means that <strong>“users must know at all times if they are interacting with a machine (chatbots)</strong> and that deepfakes must be identified.”</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">There are limited <strong>exceptions</strong> for the technical markup or visual labeling of “texts whose use is evident from the context and<strong> journalistic pieces that have undergone human review and editorial responsibility.”</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Regarding <strong>penalties,</strong> the law establishes fines for non-compliance with transparency regulations that can reach<strong> 15 million euros or 3 % of the annual global revenue of the company involved.</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">The affected companies in the sector include <strong>OpenAI with ChatGPT, Anthropic with Claude, and Google with Gemini;</strong> also, <strong>image generators like Midjourney, speech synthesis tools,</strong> and other systems that allow the use of AI for creation.</span></p>
