In this sense, the minister recalled that it was the government of former President Mauricio Macri who entered into a situation of non-payment or ‘default’, but she has assured that the current Executive has “all the necessary mechanisms so that this does not happen”.

On the other hand, Batakis has indicated that the monthly budget quotas that the Ministry grants to the entire National Public Administration will be “only in accordance with the projection of real cash.” “We are not going to spend more than we have,” she pointed out in statements collected by the Télam agency.

Freezing of personnel in the public administration

Likewise, the new head of Economy has announced that it will be arranged that “the freezing of personnel be extended to all State agencies” and not only to the National Public Administration.

The measure would be implemented through a modification of the Financial Administration Law and was announced by the minister at a press conference that she offered this morning at the Palacio de Hacienda.
