<p style="text-align: justify;">The researchers want to take advantage of the most abundant resources on the moon, the <strong>lunar soil</strong> and <strong>solar radiation.</strong> The Moon&#8217;s soil has active compounds, which can convert carbon <strong>dioxide into oxygen </strong>and fuels, according to Chinese studies published in the journal<em> Joule</em>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The analysis carried out by the scientists on the lunar soil sample showed that it contains substances rich in iron and titanium &#8220;that could function as catalysts to manufacture desired products, such as oxygen, using sunlight and carbon dioxide.&#8221;</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-80186" src="https://bitfinance.news/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/El-suelo-lunar-podria-producir-oxigeno-y-combustible.jpg" alt="" width="1200" height="893" srcset="https://bitfinance.news/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/El-suelo-lunar-podria-producir-oxigeno-y-combustible.jpg 1200w, https://bitfinance.news/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/El-suelo-lunar-podria-producir-oxigeno-y-combustible-300x223.jpg 300w, https://bitfinance.news/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/El-suelo-lunar-podria-producir-oxigeno-y-combustible-1024x762.jpg 1024w, https://bitfinance.news/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/El-suelo-lunar-podria-producir-oxigeno-y-combustible-768x572.jpg 768w, https://bitfinance.news/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/El-suelo-lunar-podria-producir-oxigeno-y-combustible-86x64.jpg 86w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to researchers, with the extraterrestrial photosynthesis strategy the process will allow the production of hydrocarbons such as <strong>methane</strong>, which could be used as fuel, but this strategy will not use &#8220;external energy, <strong>but sunlight</strong>, to produce a series of desirable products, such as water, <strong>oxygen</strong> and <strong>fuel</strong>, which could support life on a lunar base.”</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to <strong>Yingfang Yao</strong>, the catalytic efficiency of the lunar soil is lower than that of the catalysts available on Earth. However, the group of researchers &#8220;is testing different approaches to improve the design, such as melting the lunar soil into a high-entropy nanostructured material, which is a better catalyst.&#8221;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In mid-July, the Institute presented this <strong>very new toilet</strong> that has transformed the<strong> “hygienic dynamics”</strong> to the students of the <strong>Uslan University</strong> campus in<strong> South Korea,</strong> because everyone who uses BeeVi obtains Ggool units, they are a <strong>cryptocurrency</strong> authorized to purchase<strong> products</strong> in some<strong> university stores</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Each <strong>person</strong> will receive <strong>10 Ggool</strong> a day, with which they can buy<strong> books, coffee, fruits and even instant noodles.</strong> They just have to choose <strong>the products</strong> and scan the<strong> QR</strong> code to cancel with their <strong>crypto.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Cho Jae-weon,</strong> a professor <strong>responsible</strong> for leading the research and manufacturing of the<strong> invention,</strong> explained that the goal of creating the toilet is to convert human waste into<strong> compost</strong> and <strong>biogas</strong> for <strong>different uses.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Cho <strong>Jae-Weon,</strong> &#8220;feces have a precious <strong>value</strong> to produce<strong> energy</strong> and <strong>compost</strong>.&#8221; Therefore, the BeeVi toilet was presented as an &#8220;<strong>ecological and sustainable</strong>&#8221; option for the <strong>generation</strong> of <strong>combustible energy.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The BeeVi toilet</strong> also<strong> reduces </strong>the use of <strong>water, </strong>because it uses a vacuum pump to send the feces to an <strong>underground</strong> tank, where the <strong>microorganisms</strong> decompose the waste into <strong>methane</strong> that is converted into a “source of <strong>energy</strong> for the building, feeding a <strong>gas</strong> stove, a <strong>hot water boiler and a solid oxide fuel cell.</strong></p>
