The Venezuelan airline Laser will resume on May 5 the Curaçao-Caracas flights with two weekly frequencies that will operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays, according to Eliana Verkooke, director of Marketing.

Verkooke explained that after the reopening of the borders between both nations, flights have been resumed, a decision that was welcomed by travelers.

In the midst of this announcement, the director of the Curaçao Tourism Office, Marco Leal, added that “Avior with 3 flights and Albatros from Las Piedras, which will have 3 weekly flights, will also operate to the island.”

It is important to remember that travelers from Venezuela must have a visa issued by the consular missions to enter Curaçao. Likewise, “passengers must complete the “Digital Immigration Card” a maximum of 48 hours before the departure of their flight. You must request it at https://www.dicardcuracao.com/portal and present it upon arrival in Curaçao.”

Regarding biosecurity measures, the yellow fever vaccine will be required in case of entering “within 6 days after leaving or transiting countries with risk of transmission.” Children under 9 months of age, people over 60 years of age, among others, are exempt.
