This Monday a meeting was held in Caracas between the Vice President of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Robert Schuddeboom, to review the conditions for the reopening of the maritime border with Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire.

Let us remember that the border with these islands has been closed since 2019. In this sense, Rodríguez spoke through his Twitter account to publicize this meeting with the ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Caracas.

Both representatives discussed issues inherent to the bilateral relationship between the two nations and “the steps to follow for the reopening of the border between Venezuela and Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire.”

From this meeting, favorable agreements are expected for Venezuela, as well as Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, with the signing of agreements sponsored by the government of the Netherlands.
