Venezuela will start the recovery of domestic gas production plants, with the purpose of improving the distribution of this fundamental input to the entire population.

This was announced by the vice minister of gas, Luis González, who indicated that this plan includes the recovery of the factories producing liquefied gas cylinders.

The Executive hopes that the measure will allow it to respond to the population and bring supply to the most remote areas with the incorporation of projects to expand the use of methane gas.

González also referred to the plans to improve the extraction of hydrocarbons and to repower the distribution of domestic gas with the implementation of tankers, primary and secondary transportation, which are crucial for this phase of production.
