The Latin American Banking Association, together with Blockchain Intelligence, signed an agreement that seeks to address the future of banks hand in hand with blockchain and cryptocurrency technology.

Through a statement, the technology company reported that the first step will be to carry out a series of certifications, which will begin on September 27.

“The financial environment is one of the most affected by the development of blockchain technology. The bank is approaching the new possibilities from different angles, putting new solutions on the market”, reads part of the statement.

Thus, the Blockchain Intelligence Legal Institute will be in charge of providing training and knowledge to financial entities and superintendencies in Latin America to provide training from the regulatory, legal and compliance perspective.
