Those wishing to visit these states will need to carry proof of yellow fever vaccination, obtained at least 10 days prior to travel, as confirmed by Vice President for Health, Isabel Iturria.

On the other hand, they recommend that people visiting these western regions use insect repellent and wear long-sleeved clothing, especially in wooded areas, to reduce the risk of bites.

This measure from the Ministry of Health responds to a “health alert” confirmed by the authorities, who have detected 36 cases of the disease since June 2025. “The outbreak is concentrated mainly in 22 parishes in the aforementioned states, with Barinas being the region with the highest rate of infection.” Recently, the ministry launched a nationwide vaccination campaign to protect the population.

According to Fedecámaras Lara, “after a period of inactivity, the metalworking industry in the state restarted operations within the framework of the hydrocarbon investments announced for the country.”

According to Segura, the reactivation of the metalworking industry has begun, “which served the oil sector, basic industries, and sugar production, including high-level foundries.”

The union leader clarified, however, that the sector’s reactivation is progressing “slowly but steadily.” They have started the search of skilled labor, “primarily engineers in the fields of electricity, mechanics, electronics, computer science, and chemistry; as well as professionals in administration and logistics specialists.”

The goal is for this reopening to help boost the reactivation of other economic sectors such as commerce and construction.

Through this office, Corpoelec workers, suppliers, and the public will be able to pay for electricity service, in addition to opening accounts in foreign currency and in bolivars, making deposits and withdrawals at the box office, and accessing the bank’s services and products such as the MasterCard Debit Card, with contactless technology that allows online purchases and withdrawals from ATMs abroad, according to a statement from the banking organization.

Located on Paul René Moreno Camacho avenue, Corpoelec’s main building in the north of Maracaibo, the office will be open from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

The new Bancamiga service point provides facilities to Zulians and Venezuelans from different states or entities, as well as innovative products

Within the framework of this alliance, Venezuelans will also be able to pay their electricity bill through Bancamiga online, in a first phase in the states of Zulia, Táchira, Mérida, Lara, Falcón and Trujillo, a benefit that will soon be extended to the entire country. They will also be able to cancel the receipt for Bancamiga points of sale, the most modern and versatile on the market, in the coming days.

The executive president of Bancamiga Banco Universal, Ariel José Martínez, expressed his satisfaction for the alliance with Corpoelec and that precisely this ticket office is opening its doors in Maracaibo, one of the most thriving cities in the country and capital of a state like Zulia, with enormous oil, livestock and industrial potential.

“Every day that passes, Bancamiga extends its presence in Venezuela. Yesterday with the inauguration of Unare, in Bolívar state, we reached 39 agencies. Today, with this external ticket office, we add our third service point in this region, which already has an agency in Maracaibo and another in Ciudad Ojeda, through which we approach Venezuelans so that they can learn about our products and services,” he said.

The manager of the Bancamiga Maracaibo agency, José Sánchez, indicated that the ticket office becomes a new space in Zulia to bank more Venezuelans.

With the incorporation of Corpoelec, Bancamiga Banco Universal reaffirms its interest in offering solutions -both easy, safe and comfortable- for its customers and the public.

With this new office, Bancamiga Banco Universal reinforces its presence in the largest state of Venezuela, with high tourist and economic potential for the country, which already has the Upata and Puerto Ordaz agencies, indicates a statement from the financial institution.

For the executive president of Bancamiga, Ariel José Martínez, Bolívar is a very important state as it has great biodiversity, landscapes, water, mining and agricultural resources, and extensive industrial development, so the Unare agency will be a new ally to promote the growth of the region and therefore of Venezuela.

Bancamiga: Financial ally of the highest level for the southeast of the country

“We arrived to be a point of reference for Bolívar clients. In this agency you will find personalized attention adapted to your needs. Bancamiga’s honesty and closeness have made it a great support for thousands of Venezuelans, and from Unare we will continue with this vision. We are going to be a financial ally of the highest level for the southeast of the country”.

At the head of Unare is the manager Jeanneth Brito, who together with eight other professionals will promote Bancamiga’s products and services, among which are the accounts in bolivars and in foreign currency, Bancamiga Points of Sale, accounts for minors and the Mastercard Debit Card, a financial instrument that has no limits and can be used anywhere in the world. They will also channel any concerns about services such as the Exchange Desk or the payment of taxes through Bancamiga Online or the Bancamiga Suite application.

Grow with Bancamiga services and products

“People are excited, they have high expectations and have been very interested in our financial facilities. They are eager to learn how they can grow with Bancamiga’s services and products. This is an opportunity to build great business growth stories in this sector of Bolívar state.”

He expressed that they will work hard to offer personalized and quality care in a town where the presence of this financial institution has aroused much interest.

The agency is located in the Ciudad Comercial Automotriz shopping center, local 8 and 9, Development Unit 278, Ciudad Guayana, Unare parish, Bolívar state. It is number 39 of Bancamiga and makes Bolívar the state with the most agencies in the interior of the country, together with Lara and Carabobo, all with three agencies.

Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 4, Quality Education, Option Venezuela has launched this project that seeks to offer answers to: the deficit of teachers and teachers, they’re outdated and the low proportion of teachers with qualifications minimum required in digital skills, vocational guidance, employment promotion, decent work, entrepreneurship, sustainable development, among others (target and indicator of SDG 4.4); as well as the low degree of incorporation of education for sustainable development, including gender equality and human rights in curricula, teacher training and student assessment (target – SDG indicator 4.7) .

In response, the Educational Network for Sustainable Entrepreneurship was born, a proposal for raising awareness and training available for teachers and students in matters of life purpose, entrepreneurship and sustainability, which has more than 150 testimonials from Venezuelan entrepreneurs, who thanks to the power of their stories (storytelling), provides value and inspiration to the participants of these training experiences.

A methodology of sustainable options for Venezuela

The program was carried out in three phases: in the first, a training design for raising awareness and training in skills for sustainable entrepreneurship was created, with workshops on life projects, entrepreneurship and sustainability, as well as sharing inspiring testimonies. In the second, promoters were trained in the three key issues who became the replicators of these contents among adolescents and young people.

Students of the workshop carried out in Maturín

In the third, they carried out more than 30 workshops in 11 states of the country (Aragua, Bolívar, Carabobo, Capital District, Lara, Miranda, Monagas, Nueva Esparta, Yaracuy, Táchira and Zulia), beginning the formation of a network of more than 600 young people and adults, between 15 and 24 years old, who attend schools, high schools, universities or are linked to youth organizations, who from now on will begin to incorporate notions of sustainable entrepreneurship into their professional practice, in a world that increasingly demand.

The initiative is driven by the potential of the network of facilitators and promoters that Option Venezuela has been weaving in more than 10 states of the country, as well as the wealth of testimonies, content and tools for Venezuela and its young people to seek to move from the “disappointment” and “resentment” at the ambition to undertake sustainable options for the future. “It motivates us to bet on the construction of a productive, supportive and sustainable country. Productive that stimulates manufacturing instead of selling raw materials (oil, minerals); in solidarity with the victims of the complex humanitarian emergency and those who are not yet being strengthened in their capacities to be able to live autonomously and entrepreneurially in Venezuela; sustainable since it is a priority to promote a development model that is committed not only to economic growth, but also promotes solutions that reverse global warming and also generates a positive impact on people”, said Félix Ríos, Co-Founder and President of Option Venezuela AC.

Opción Venezuela empowers responsible leaders

Option Venezuela, which this year will reach two decades of work, has been inspired by the purpose of empowering responsible leaders, from schools, communities, companies, among other collective spaces, so that through their undertakings and initiatives build “the world you want in the world you have.”

With this proposal, a network experience is promoted that offers young Venezuelans a space for reflection on their life purpose, the possibility of undertaking, in addition to incorporating the vision of sustainability. “It is also inspiring for the workshop participants to show them the stories of Venezuelans, talented people who make a difference, inside and outside our borders, who reinvent themselves in the face of difficulties, are resilient personally and from their most varied initiatives” Rivers shares.

As an example of the power of testimonies, there are the stories of Ron Chávez (humorist), Selene Quiroga (pianist) and Maickel Melamed, who have been able to enrich the workshops on life projects; the experiences of Andrés Simón González (Venemergencia – Asistensi), Claudia Valladares (Impact Hub Caracas), Jeserik Pinto (Olympic swimmer) and Fernando Rodríguez (cuatrista musician), those of entrepreneurship. While the stories of Andrés Solorzano (Leather Heart), Mafe Vera (Melao Lab), Andrea Martínez (Zona Rasta Family), Feliciano Reyna (Acción Solidaria) and Luisa Pernalete (Fe y Alegría); they have contributed valuable ideas to talk about sustainability; among other testimonies available on the Youtube channel of Option Venezuela AC.

Bio Mercados has a presence in the states of Carabobo and Lara, where they have seven branches. Now, consumers are able to cancel with Bitcoin (BTC), Dash (DASH), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT) and other cryptos without having to carry out the conversion to fiat.

The information was posted in the official Dash account, through a video which highlighting that this alliance benefits more than “500,000 customers in the city of Valencia”, through the 90 payment desks the supermarket has. This implies a great integration because in other businesses, which accept this type of payment, they only have one desk to carry out the operations and in most cases the manager of the store must supervise the payment process.

With the activation of this service, the Bio Mercados supermarket chain intends to “reduce waiting timeswhen paying or avoid problems due to the lack of low-denomination bills for the delivery of changes, among other difficulties” that limit cash transactions
