Next Wednesday, June 24th, is a national holiday, commemorating the anniversary of the Battle of Carabobo.

However, it’s important to remember that users of the national banking system can use each institution’s digital channels for immediate payments, transfers, balance inquiries, and peer-to-peer payments. They can also use ATMs for various transactions and pay at businesses with their debit and credit cards.

Bank branches in Venezuela will not provide teller service on Monday, June 23rd and Tuesday, June 24th, due to the Corpus Christi religious holiday and the Battle of Carabobo national holiday, respectively.

According to the Superintendency of Banking Institutions of Venezuela (Sudeban) calendar, users will be able to use online banking on both days to make inquiries, mobile payments, and transfers.

Likewise, citizens will have access to ATMs located throughout the country to make withdrawals and deposits. However, the agency recommends taking precautions and making withdrawals in advance to avoid setbacks.
