<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The executive highlighted that in 2025, &#8220;the <strong>mass consumption market in Venezuela experienced an 8.4 % growth in units, which means that 9 % more units were sold compared to 2024.&#8221;</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">According to Cabrera, <strong>87 % of households began using their savings to cover consumption expenses.</strong> Regarding this, he added that “in terms of <strong>prices,</strong> it&#8217;s a market that <strong>experienced growth of around 29 %, and despite this, there was an increase in units sold.”</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">In 2025, <strong>average consumption was 17.7 million units per week, and so far in 2026, it&#8217;s estimated at 19 million units per week.</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">However, Cabrera cautioned that<strong> the observed increase in consumption “not only reflects an improved economy, but also a shift in consumer mindset</strong>, with people now willing to spend more despite the prices.”</span></p>
